Finally after some procrastination, consideration and pestering I finally decided on a Sexy Red Kitchen AID as my Bday Gift from Hubz!

Haven't actually use others beside my mom 30 year old Kenwood (still alive) but it does mix well I would say. (It better be, This cost my hubby RM2300!!!!)

Not to forget to compliment a fine oven from Fagor.

My 1st attempt was tiramisu but I overdose on the liqour..
2nd attempt was Cornflakes Cookies which I think it was a success..
And now 3rd time would be a Chocolate Moist Cake which I added Hershey's semi sweet chocolate chunk

It's been a year since I move in to my new place. It's bit wee smaller than my parents but it's cozy enough, just as long it doesn't require housework.

Cozy ain't it??

My favourite would be the brown chinese cupboard and the green feature wall.

Hubz extensive Liqour collection. Apparently he wanna keep his Cordon Blue till his kid 10 year old b'day... -_-"

10 years ago, I think I have many friends.
10 years later, I have more acquaintances than friends.
Friends who don't give a shit about who and what you are, what car you drive, where you stay, what handbags/clothes you carry and will lend their shoulder for you to cry on are your TRUE friend.

But then again, certain friends may grew apart due to marriages, migration, different lifestyle or their partner just hates you for no effing reason. Making new friends at a certain age may not be easy as compare to when you're 10 years younger. Yeah....late teens & early 20's where you just share everything under the sun. As you grew older, people are more selective in choosing friends maybe due to not so nice experiences with hypocrites and "friends" who just stick to you for BENEFIT.

Important thing is be YOURSELF if you have intention to penetrate to a new group of people. Never ever try too 'hard' to fit in as you have to give in that those fellas may know each other for donkey years. Do not rush & pretend into getting to know those fellas well as they might think you're trying too hard to fit in. Be comfortable, find a general or common topic to start with. Soon you'll find yourself slowly grooving in the group without realising it.

Be humble, do not boast or say things that is impossible to achieve on yourself. Most of the time, people will always prefer a friend that they are comfortable and genuine. How would you feel if this idiot in front of you KEPT on telling or REMINDING you how many cars, luxury handbags he/she own. Or those who kept on saying he'll buy/do this and that for the 100th time and still no execution.

Be positive as people will prefer someone who will lighten up their days. Sulky friends bring negative 'chi' and soon people will avoid you cuz is a tiring task to be someone who's moody. Imagine you have a friend who whine, bitch and compare ALL THE TIME! I knew someone who loves to whine and whine bout work and just bitch about everything from her mom in law to her sis in law, her job maybe their pet or whatsoever. It's BAD CHI!!!!

Do not be overly friendly or generous as there are people out there who'll take advantage (that's your lost) whether in monetary issue or services. It's FREAKING ANNOYING if the same fella keep on asking for favour which is not to your convenience.

Do not STALK! That's scary!!

On a final note, after few months trying out and if you still can't seems to fit in, the only thing to do is.....LEAVE the group and find another one that you can click with.

Holiday comes and goes and time seems to pass by faster when you're doing absolutely NOTHING!

What I did during the Aug break is:-
1)Cook a storm for Family & Hubz
2)Spa @ Khareyana which was very Therapeutic & Facial.
3)Shopping (my fav pastime)
4)Finally hanging out @ RSGC after being a member for past 8 months!!!

Juggling between Facebook, twitter & some FB games with blogging seems pretty impossible when you don't have enough time even to myself. Unless I'm a tai tai.... :P :P

Upcoming: Raya Break!!! Should I go down south or not??? hrrrrrrmmmmmmmm. Is Uniqlo, Dempsey hill and ION Mall Calling me???

With all the preparation of moving in and such hereby i neglected my blog again. Right....It's so me to ignore it for a while..as usual.. :P

Wassup with me lately? I lost my phone! Yes my free N73 which store in lotsa quite important information...No worries folks, no AV or naked pictures...:P Just my work stuff and all which pretty harmless. What I worry most is the person who happily picked it up. Hopefully they wont abuse the contact or pictures for other use. Will this lucky bitch please reset the phone and delete all those that is unnecessary to you aights?

Was planning to keep the phone till after my wedding and home expenses so that I can lavishly splurge it on a good PDA but alas , my plan vanish! Am considering either HTC Diamond, HTC TyTN 2 or Sony Erricson Xperia... :(

Therefore I narrow down to either Sony Erricson C902, Sony Erricson C905 or Nokia E66. Somehow the Nokia E66 has the closest feature to a PDA phone minus the stylus or Keypad. Plus do I really need an 8 MP camera(C905)? and I always wanted to get a slide phone, so I'm still contemplating on the C902.

decision...decision...decision.....

And I'm supposed to splurge on my LV Neverfull in Damier.... :P

But then again, do I really need a PDA phone? or should I just stick to good 'ol paper organizer???

I've never been a fan of Louis Vuitton-will the Gucci fan please stand up!!- thanks to the nationwide counterfeiting, Petaling street plus Patong, Phuket night market and replicas website all around the world!! As I have the intention to collect a few classic luxury designer bags, I'm actually researching on a few item including LV. Neverfull MM Monogram and Mini Lin Speedy caught my eye. Why them? Cuz I always prefer spacious bag plus these 2 item are on my budget.

But somehow Monogram always hold me back cuz everyone is carrying it. Whether is fake or original I've seen it EVERYWHERE! As for Mini Lin, the material seem... not durable to my feel. I thought canvas will be a good idea as its long lasting-I've seen my aunt 10-15 year old Monogram which still in a freaking good condition despite the slight rust on the zipper and the metal trimming.
Another thing that turn me off is the 'quality' of people who carries it. Yes call me B-I-A-S or maybe chinese-ist (is there such word I wonder?) but I've walk to an LV shop full of rural-looking China Chinese. Yes I know they are the super loaded aunties but for goodness sake, will someone please teach them how to groom themselves 1st? As in KL, I shall just keep the opinion to myself. >_<

Till I found My Neverfull in Damier. Ooh la la... and I heard they MIGHT not even release it worldwide (correct me if I'm wrong). Solely for Japan and Hawaii market. Anyone know the status of this bag in Japan?????

Holiday comes and goes...

Holidays comes and goes pretty quickly this round. Before settling the holiday mood here am I now ...back to work....*ARGHHHHHH*

It have been pretty non productive week as we didn't actually touch anything on our home..ok beside purchasing a few items but now we are rushing to get toilet accessories and some other stuff that need to mold to the wall before the plumber and the kitchen cabinet comes in (save on that xtra charges for separate works ;) )

I can't seems to find a nice toilet accessories and I find chrome pretty mismatch with my floral white tiles (courtesy from the developer-very distasteful)! Found some matte ones but its beyond the budget..*UGH* Searching high and low for a nice white ones which I can't seems to see...not even from IKEA.

Let see on my last week itinerary:-
Mon - Makan session with my colleague

Tue - Dining table hunt with my mom- My heart was on Lorenzo.
Parents meeting @ Overseas - anxious and nervous but it went pretty well.

Wed - Raya open house @ Abbas.
Finally found an alternative "Lorenzo" Dining table in this warehouse
looking furniture shop in Old Klang rd.
Purchased Fridge, Washing Machine, Aircond and Standing steam Iron from Legend
Dinner with a long lost fren.

Thur- Hunt for wedding band- My Heart was on Tiffany Novo , Channel and Lucida eternity
band and yeah...its definitely beyond the budget.
Mamma Mia! free screening courtesy from fiance's family fren @ GSC- Love it!.

Fri - Petaling ST hunt with my colleague. DO NOT SUPPORT COUNTERFEIT!
Drinks @ C Club

Sat - SHOPPING @ Pavilion- yes am deprived till i made a mega SLURGE plus a pair of sandal from C&K

Hey there. I'm Irenekay and I'm a shopaholic. That besides the point, I'm also on my journey to start a brand new life with a "shrew tamer" which we gonna experience our life ahead with lots of happiness, trial and life tribulation... And I hope in this blog we can share with the newlyweds, courting couples and old-farts :P ...the WISE old-farts.

Oldies is when I'm still on my early and mid 20's and current will speak about late 20's girl reviving on her days when she's 18.
